LEARNING DESIGN
- Online learning platform: Edmentum
- Students will be issued a WCSD chromebook for access to learning.
- Students are expected to progress through courses at a rate comparable to that of a traditional in-person class.
- Students are permitted to work ahead.
- Students will be required to complete an exam upon completion of each core course (English, Mathematics, Science, History) before credit for the course is awarded.
- A final grade for each course will be awarded upon completion.
- Commander Academy students may enroll in Dual Credit courses. If enrolled in a dual credit course, the student or parent must communicate with Mr. Willis, Mrs. Ballard, and Mrs. Livers (school counselor).
- Juniors and Seniors may be approved for Co-Op learning. Students will be required to provide proof of employment and weekly documentation of work (i.e. pay stubs, timesheet, etc.)
- The grading scale will follow that of the middle/high school.
